Q: What made you interested in Real Estate?

A: I have a background in mortgage financing and interior decorating. A career in real estate made sense to me. I felt that I was uniquely positioned to provide my clients with a full-service experience whether they are buying or selling real estate.

Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted?

A: Meeting new people is always the best part of hosting an open house as well as generating more buzz for the property being shown. I always make sure the environment at my open house is safe and professional.

Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far?

A: I am very excited about being in at a stage in my career where I have the ability to mentor new agents and help them get started in their new career just as my mentors have done for me in the past. Growing my team has been the most fulfilling experience thus far.

Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license?

A: Every experience I have had, good or bad, has brought me to where I am now. I have learned and continue to learn from my mistakes and move forward, but I would not change anything that has happened. I have been fortunate to have great mentors and coaches in my career, which I am extremely grateful for. I am looking forward to continuing to learn and grow so that I can provide better service to my clients and my team members.

Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started?

A: There are a lot more tools and technology available to real estate agents now than we had 8 years ago when I first started. Realtors are becoming more efficient and are able to handle more tasks, get access to more information in a shorter amount of time, which allows us to serve more clients while providing better service at the same time.

Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job?

A: Real estate can be a very emotional business, not just for clients but for everyone involved. Setting expectations and being transparent and forthcoming with information helps alleviate the stress that comes from uncertainty. When clients and real estate partners are fully informed throughout the process a lot of potential issues can be avoided.

Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say?

A: Best job I can imagine!
