Vladimir Westbrook

Vladimir Westbrook Westbrook Realty

Experience: 3 years Specializations: New homes, first-time homebuyers, investment properties Areas Served: South Bay Area Q: What made you become interested in real estate? A: A desire to understand how real estate works as it is a big part of economy in Silicon Valley. Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A:   There was an open house in Sunnyvale in summer 2017, where we've had 70 groups walk in the same day and at one point it felt like an organized event with all the people in the house. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: The most heartwarming experiences in my job are when we are so close with the clients that we become friends. We celebrate birthdays and other important life events together. It's amazing how working on a home purchase may connect people. Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A:  I wouldn't change anything in the learning curve I took in real estate. The only way to improve is to learn something new every day and be better than you were yesterday. Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A:  The inventory has increased, the interest rates have gone up, new propositions are being voted on, the real estate is constantly evolving. Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job? A: Being a psychologist. Never expected that to be a part of the job, but it's inseparable. It's extremely important to understand the needs of a person and to be there in the moment of doubt. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: Rewarding and developing profession that changes lives.
