Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted?

A: From the second the doors opened we were packed. I had attracted more than 25 families to the property for the open house. I spoke with as many as I could to make sure they knew all the great features of the home. As a result of this open house, the property went into multiple offers.

Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far?

A: The proudest moment in my career was selling my first listing. It was an elderly woman in her 70’s looking to move from Georgia to California to be closer with her children. Not only did I sell the home, but this woman had touched me personally. I moved her stuff to California by driving from Georgia to California in a 28-foot Budget truck. I likely wouldn’t do that again, but it was a great experience. While that experience is unique, I am very proud after each closing.

Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license?

A: The shows you see on tv make this look so easy. Who could not sell a multi-million-dollar apartment in minutes? Admittedly it isn’t rocket science, but it is a business and needs to be run like one. I wish I knew more about growing my business and organization right from the start. I am glad to be associated with a team now that while remaining very client-centric is run like a business so I can provide professional assistance to all clients.

Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started?

A: Nothing says change like being declared an essential business in the middle of a global pandemic. How do you provide professional service in a safe environment?

Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job?

A: Maintaining very high standards while growing my business has proved challenging. I pride myself on giving outstanding customer service and keeping educated on trends and contracts. As business was growing, I had to learn to be able to delegate out items to ensure each and every client had the very best service and representation I could give. Whenever you start delegating to others it is hard. Ensuring they are doing things to the same quality and professionalism that I strive for is a challenge. I did my research and partnered with others that I felt were also among the best in the industry. Our team is The FamilyHomesGa Team affiliated with Keller Williams Chattahoochee North. I know that each one of my teammates has the best interest of the client in mind and trusting them the do their job is easy. I know my clients are well taken care of as we work towards closing.

Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say?

A: Easy Business; Hard Work; Relationships
