Q: What made you interested in Real Estate?

A: Family and personal interests.

Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted?

A: One kid who came in ate 12 cookies!

Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far?

A: One of my proudest moments so far was when my buyers finally closed on their home, who had been searching with me for 3 months!! We almost did not think the deal would come together, since it was contingent upon the sale of their home. They had two people back out of the sale of their home and the last person almost did not come through with their financing. They had a moving truck packed with all of their stuff parked in their driveway for a week! The other agent wanted to throw up their hands and be done with it, but I refused! It was a great feeling when that deal finally all came together and I was able to help them get their ideal home.

Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license?

A: How important it is to stay in constant contact with your past customers.

Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started?

A: There were so many new agents in my local Real Estate board getting their licenses the last two years, and now that business has slowed down a lot of the newer agents are retiring the licenses they just got.

Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job?

A: Knowing the best thing to do when I am in a slow period.

Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say?

A: Your phone might die regularly.
