A: I chose real estate as my career because it provides a path of financial freedom, a flexible schedule, and the personal fulfillment of helping families own their home. As an agent you gain great satisfaction knowing you helped people through major times in their lives. Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted? A: Someone walked in and was ready to put an offer on the property. Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far? A: One of the most heartwarming moments I recall is with a family of 12 all living together in one small rental home. This beautiful family were all hard working people, unaware of the process of owning a home. It was good fate that brought me to this family, as i was looking for a specific vendor. It took months to convince them to buy their own home, as they were scared and not educated on the home buying process. My lender was a great help, he worked diligently to get them approved for their loan. House hunting began, with lots of mixed emotions and excitement. I stood strong all the way with my clients, giving them hope and encouragement. Finally they found their dream home, after a very long journey. We were all overwhelmed with tears of joy. Today this beautiful family is not just my client but also my extended family. This journey inspire me to keep doing what I’m doing and making impossible dreams becomes possible. Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license? A: I wish I knew how costly being a Realtor was. And it takes time before you become successful. Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started? A:  The real estate market has become very competitive with more companies offering flat-fee services. Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job? A: The biggest challenges as a realtor are: competing against other realtors, finding ways to stand out, and what differentiates you from others. Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say? A: Professional, motivated, knowledgeable, respectful, compassionate.
