Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted?
A: After the open house was over I was locking up and walking around the pool when my cell phone fell into and sank to the bottom of the pool. It did not survive.
Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far?
A: I believe it was when I got the confidence to break off from working with a major real estate company in New Jersey and opened up an office with two friends.
Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license?
A: There really were no surprises. I was used to basically being self-employed and knowing you need a lot of self-motivation in order to succeed.
Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started?
A: The use of the internet today by consumers and realtors has increased tremendously. Consumers are more knowledgeable today than they were 17 years ago.
Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job?
A: Getting the consumer to trust that Realtors are the professionals.
Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say?
A: The best job ever!
