Costello Real Estate & Investments, LLC

Experience: 4 years

Specializations: Listing specialist/investment property/buyer specialist

Q: What made you become interested in real estate?

A: I first was interested in flipping and then it that morphed into real estate. I found that I really enjoy helping people achieve their goals of owning a home or finding that perfect investment property.

Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted?

A:   I got locked in the crawl space while giving a tour. Luckily, we were able to pick the lock.

Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far?

A: I would have to say my last sell. It was a home on lake norman and my sellers really needed to get their home sold. It had previously been listed with another firm with no offers. With in 3 weeks of listing with myself we had it under contract. Now it also feel out of contract in 3 weeks. I knew they really needed to make this happen so I doubled down on my follow up game and reached to any agent that may of had interest. With that being said I got their home back under contract in 4 hours.

Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license?

A: I wish I would have known to not be a secret agent. The only way people know you are in Real Estate is to let them know.

Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started?

A: In the Charlotte area I have seen real estate get extremely competitive. especially on the buy side. The lack of inventory present day makes it extremely difficult. That is the main reason a buyer needs to pair themselves with a seasoned agent.

Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job?

A: The most challenging thig about my job is myself. I continue to push myself to level up and go that extra mile for my clients.

Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say?

A: It's what you put into it.
