Q: What made you become interested in real estate?

A: The ability to assist people with one of the biggest decisions someone will make in their life.

Q: What is the most interesting thing that happened during an open house you hosted?

A:   A client walked in and said they have liked this house for years, so they purchased it and sold their home. They came to find out the wife’s mom grew up in the house.

Q: What was your favorite moment in your career so far?

A:  There have been many, but the one that stands out: I was working with some first time home buyers that had a beautiful little girl. When she liked the house, she would pick out her room and ask me to take a picture of her in it. She would write the sellers a letter. That little girl is now a young woman going to graduate high school soon. Yes, we got the offer accepted because of her picture and letter. They are still in the home.

Q: What do you wish you had known when you first got your real estate license?

A:  I can not think of anything; I was an assistant for a few years before getting my license.

Q: In what ways have you seen the real estate industry change since you started?

A:   Wow, that’s a big one. The digital world has changed the industry to the point it literally makes our job easier. However the personal touch is gone and that is hard at times. That is why I am perfectly fine with clients without the internet.

Q: What’s the most challenging part of your job?

A:  The most challenging part of my job is when my offers are rejected and the buyers absolutely loved the home.

Q: If you could sum up being a real estate agent in five words or less, what would you say?

A:  Exciting, life changing, and rewarding!
